Expired SSL Certificates
Some websites are operational but have expired SSL certificates. Modern browsers refuse to display these sites, making them appear offline even though the server is running.
Domain Changes
Some institutions have switched domains, so the monitoring tool may still be tracking an old or deprecated domain instead of the current one.
Slow Response Times
Some websites take up to 20 seconds to load. These may occasionally be classified as offline during the monitoring ping if they exceed the response timeout threshold.
Quality Scoring (Work in Progress)
The quality audit feature — which evaluates websites on strategic, experience, design, technical, and commercial criteria — is still being refined. Scores shown may be incomplete or approximate for some websites.
